Big Honker Guide Service has many acres of private land to hunt geese and crane. Our duck hunting takes place in the numerous playa lakes located around the Texas Panhandle. We have at least two people scouting every day of the season to provide you and your group with a hunt that you will never forget.

The area around Lubbock is the winter home to many migratory waterfowl. In the winter months the local playa lakes are almost completely covered with Canada geese. The farther North that we hunt the greater the chances of bonus snow geese and speckle belly.  There are also numerous species of ducks such as Mallard, Teal, American Widgeon, Pintails, Read Head, Bufflehead and others. The duck decoying action is very good until the very end of the season due to very low hunting pressure.
